ABOUT ME

If you're on this website you already know that I love to perform. So, I want to dedicate this page to the things I love that aren't theatre. Buuuuut before I get to my life outside of theatre, I want to give a slight backstory to why I love performing so much. I started dancing at the age of 3 and loved it from the beginning. Then when I was 10 years old, I saw my brother perform in his high school production of Grease. That is when I fell in love with theatre. I watched him every night and knew I needed to be on the stage with him. Later that year, I auditioned for The Wizard of Oz and I haven't stopped performing since.

I discovered my love of combat my junior year in my stage combat class. I loved it so much that I went to Louisiana for 3 weeks in the summer to get certified in four more weapons (for a total of 7) and made some lifelong friends. Learning how to fight has made me a better actor and I cannot thank my mentors enough!

Even outside of performing I love to dance more than anything. I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and it has always been an incredible outlet for me. Recently, I have also discovered a love of choreography so I have been exploring how to tell a story through my movement.
At my core, I will always and without a doubt be a feminist. I have experienced so much sexism in the industry as well as my everyday life and I will not stop fighting for what I believe in. I will speak my mind and I will not let others treat me less than because of my gender.
music!!
Music has always been a huge love of mine, my entire life. Before I discovered theatre my dream was to be a rock star (it still is a little bit). My favorite genres are "dad rock", "sapphic yearning", and Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet.
binge watching
This is my time to plug my letterboxd account, @ajbobayjay. I am such a movie buff and you know Barbenheimer was my super bowl. I am a lover of all things a24, Greta Gerwig, and John Hughes. I could spend all day watching and reviewing movies. And I am a proud member of the AMC A-list club.
my digital camera
A recent love of mine has been a cheap digital camera I bought on Ebay. I love this camera so so much but even more I love to take pictures of the things I love more than anything, my best friends and support system.
